Poly(Ethylene Glycol) 2000 (100 g)
- Stock: In Stock
- Model: 0453
Introduction
Poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG) is a non-ionic hydrophilic polymer, which can be obtained in different molecular weight forms. It contributes to the purification and crystal growth of proteins and nucleic acids. PEG and dextran together produce a polymer aqueous two-phase system required for the purification of biomaterials. PEG can also interact with cell membranes to promote cell fusion. It has stealth effect, prolonged blood circulation and excellent biocompatibility. PEG can induce hypersensitivity by stimulating complement pathway.
